PILOT SERVICES
Internet access designed for pilots
Weather planning is a must-have for any level of pilot activity.
Each pilot needs a familiar weather information system with which they can make safe judgements before each trip.
Having several different weather provide services scattered between airports can be confusing and alter the pilot's interpretation of what they are seeing.
With our network of kiosks, the pilot sees the weather the way they want to see it.
It's obvious the pilot can see the difference in weather, not the difference in the way it's presented.
Access to the Internet opens up all kinds of services
Flight planning, e-mail access, lodging, car rental, facility surveys, and more.
Benefits for Pilots
Beyond weather and flight planning, our kiosks give pilots and passengers access to the Internet.
Our network uses standard web filtering to block access to unwanted material and potentially dangerous files.
Giving pilots their own access to the Internet relieves FBOs the necessity to become IT professionals or have others using their personal computers.
Who's involved?
Airfield Technologies works in conjunction with Purdue University, Hotels.com, Americal Association of Airport Executives, AOPA, and several state and national aviation associations.
